Dustin Guenther

Dustin Guenther

I've known Dustin now for over 12 years. Since early high school days, he was the one who influenced me from the beginning. His inspiration goes beyond his riding.

His attitude and outlook on life are what make him Dustin. His sense of humor is as original as his riding. His dedication and newly-learned discipline in tune with the heart of a lion has made Dustin into one of the best pros today. He has an honest charisma. You will not see him complain at a contest. He is there to ride and have fun—no whining, no fuss—just a really respectable athlete. He’s beyond the level of worrying for no reason. You will not see Dustin riding if he’s not having a good time, the two, of course, go hand in hand.

At the age of 27, I see Dustin at a new stage in his life. A new degree of learning and education. He appreciates all aspects of bikes and often cruises his mountain bike on creative excursions.

I spent a semester of my high school years in the same woodwork class as Dustin, we spent most of the time designing and fabricating launch ramps, we never made landing ramps, just launch ramps, I don't think he saw any need for a smooth landing. Of course today, watching his agility and style, in with smooth entries, you would never have known Dustin ever came down.

By the way, I'm sure if you ask him to ride flat, he'll say no, as he is the least conceded rider I've ever known, but he can throw down in almost any area of riding. I am always delighted to see Dustin again, too few and far times between, I feel honored to say Dustin is a good friend of mine, good luck, keep riding and rockin' on.

Dustin Guenther… What do I say about a dude that’s treated me like a little brother since the first time I hung out with the guy. You know, took me under his wing.

Let’s start with the obvious. Dustin on his bike. Well, every time I roll up the Hastings, it takes me extra long to drop in because I cant stop watching the craziest lines that are casually being blasted in front of my eyes. Dustin is about my favorite person to watch ride, to ride with and be around. The dude puts out a solid, positive energy that just makes for a good time.
