Hannu Cools.... It's no surprise that one of the central figures of the Belgium BMX scene is this guy. He is, without a doubt, one of the most versatile riders I’ve ever met; someone who can not only survive at the very edges of civilized places, but thrive. In fact he can thrive in and on everything, riding and the rest. Rely on him to be the one guy on a trip who brings his gas stove. Rely on him to be the first up in the morning and the last riding at night, whether you're at the trails, whether you're building, riding street, exploring or just getting chilled down by the water. In fact, he reminds me of Huckleberry Finn on motivation pills. He is most at home when he can travel, dig, climb, and put down a couple of pedals in between.
