Well I'm not sure if this is the time or the place to write this bio or what not. I’ve been putting it off for weeks and I'm on a plane with a family that thinks that I'm sharing my seat with them. Basically I’ve got a dirty pair of nine-year-old socks and toes digging into my leg. It’s been a long four hours and I’m not looking forward to an eight-hour layover in Amsterdam.

I'm off to a contest in Estonia, so I can’t complain. Should be interesting there; all the heavy hitters are gonna be there. I'm not much of the contest guy, that’s for sure. And it’s been a while. I'm looking forward to seeing some old friends I haven't seen for a while. I hope there’s someone to pick me up from the airport. I'm not even sure where Estonia is.

My original plan was to write what my life would be like without BMX. I really can’t imagine. Riding is the backbone of my life. I don't mean to sound all emo, but it’s true. Just about everything around me stems from riding these little bikes. It’s taught me so much about friendships and just living. It’s taken me all over this crazy world we live in. I’ve made it out of Anaheim, CA. I guess I would have to say without bike riding I’d probably be working the nine-to-five. My dad works on boats so I imagine I’d work with him. I used to help him out when I lived in Cali. Now Marvin Loterlie is his assistant. I was really into skating as well. Maybe I would have made the big time as a skater. I would have given you all flat tires. Ha, ha… suckers.

All and all, I thank my lucky stars for that damn bike. Thanks mom for taking me to the BMX track that first time about 16 years ago. I still got that third place trophy. Through bike riding I’ve made so many good friends all over the place. I can’t explain the feeling of riding around town on that perfect sunny day. It’s made every flat fucking tire worth it. Cheers. Keep on shredding.
